Hi, I'm Andy Fields, the founder and visionary of CouchPoint, let me please give you some background. First, out of The Pennsylvania State University I graduated with high honors in Computer Engineering in 1999, then for 12 years leading a sales team at a small DC Tech firm with my primary customer The Department of Defense. I moved to San Diego, California for a sabbatical and to start a new life and my own Entrepreneur journey. I founded TheHostelCalifornia.com T.H.C. now a Top Rated San Diego Hostel and operate as an International Destination. On any given day I host guests from over 10 different countries. This journey has not been without difficulty navigating intrusive neighbors, language barriers, guest conflicts, party rentals, police responses, fire responses, media spotlights, and ultimately pressure from the City Code Enforcement that actually helped inspire the company name, CouchPoint! Fun Fact: The technical Co-Founder of Airbnb worked at the same small company as the founder of CouchPoint during their time together in Washington DC. The software they specialized was used to manage and troubleshoot the performance of networked applications.
